Vehicle Detail

FOR AUCTION1967 Pontiac LeMans 2 Door Hardtop from California Offering my 1967 Pontiac Lemans 2 Door Hardtop in auction format. I purchased the car on July 6, 1988 from a car dealer located in Rogers, MN titled the California Car Connection and proceeded to drive for 3 years during the spring and summer months only. In 1991 I proceeded to take the front clip off and drivetrain out to restore but have been "sidetracked" for the past 20 years. The car has sat in storage for the past 20 years free from the elements awaiting to be worked on again. Over the past 23 years and with my Fathers help I have been collecting parts that will be included in the auction. Included with the a successful bid will be all parts accumalated including 1 set of original Crager S/S wheels (14 x 7 for front/14 x 8 for Rear), 1 set of Hedman Headers, a 1971 Pontiac 400 shortblock engine (no heads or carb) that was built for a friend of my Fathers who raced Poncho's, original drivetrain (326 2 barrel with CA emissions & 2 speed Powerglide) and numerous miscellaneous parts to aid in the final restoration. The parts being provided have a value of close to $2000.00 alone and could be used for the restoration or sold off to reduce your net cost on the car. Car is disassembled as pictured and is a very solid and rare example of a Pontiac LeMans. Though the front clip is off it is not as so much a jigsaw puzzle for I did label all disassembled parts for easier assembly later on. For those that know, the Pontiac LeMans is a rarity at car shows/cruises hence the reason I chose this particular model 23 years ago. All pictures are recent and highlight most angles of the car for your viewing. The underside of the car is immaculate and rust free. From sitting over 20 years the car has acquired a few scrapes in the paint and at least 1 small dent in the passenger rear quarter. The car was repainted as well sometime before being brought back to Minnesota. The "A" body for GM was prone to water leakage in the trunk from the rear window seal drying up-this is the one area that does not need immediate attention but should be addressed in a restoration. See pics of rear window and trunk for more detail.SHIPPING: To the winner of the auction I am willing to deliver the car and parts within a 300 mile radius for a small fee (up to $250.00 or $1.00 per mile). Also for your convenience if you win the auction or buy it now. If given the proper time and after the initial $200.00 deposit, I will put the front end back together to ease the movement of the vehicle for transportation. If you would like more information or are in need of more pictures please contact me via ebay. I will be happy to provide any and all information requested including more pictures or a video if you like. Item will be listed locally and I reserve the right to remove from auction if the LeMans does sell. I will contact all bidders and notify in the event the car does sell. If you live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area car is available for viewing - please contact me. Thanks for viewing!Jim
