Vehicle Detail

1964 Ford F-100 The Koolest Rat Rod EVER! THIS IS A RELIST DUE TO AN ERROR I MADE IN THE ORIGINAL LISTING. THIS HAS THE 351 WINDSOR ENGINE. 351 Windsor V-8 (A HEALTHY ONE!) Solid Sheet Metal - South Dakota Truck! 3-speed manual on the column AM/FM Cassette Player with Quadraphonic Sound Ghost Flames, Flame Flames, and all kinds of special touches! Here it is folks--the drive-anywhere Rat Rod of your dreams. Don't have all the time to custom-up an old Rat Rod for yourself? That's okay, this one's done for you! What makes this classic cool is the details. You can find special touches all over this truck that just make it stand out and fun to drive, ride in, and look at. Things like the ghost flames on the air cleaner lid, or the chrome horn button, or the special flames on the hood, or the ol' STP Sticker, or the hot orange rims, or the PBR decal on the battery box. . . this truck is the ultimate conversation piece and it will amaze you how it steals all the attention at the Show and Shines even though it cost drastically less than most old cars. This '64 started life as an Inline Six pickup. The 351 Windsor runs great and is amazingly quick! The custom exhuast has a gutteral groul to it that will nock your socks off! I'm selling this for my buddy that I work with. If you have any questions, feel free to give him a ring on his cellular 507-421-8482. He obviously knows much more about the truck than I do. Only a couple of rust repairs were done. The driver's side cab corner has a couple inch spot that was repaired, and beneath the F-100 badges on the front fenders some surface rust was worked on. Both repairs look very presentable, especially for a rat. The box is unbelievably solid. Only a couple dime size rust spots near the rear of the bed. Floors have some steel that has been installed with self-tappers, but make no mistake--this is not a rust bucket by any means. It is solid. The windshield has a crack running down the center vertically. It doesn't seem to hinder the driver's view much, and all the rest of the glass in intact. Any imperfections are mainly cosmetic in nature. But they also add to the truck's charm! Where my buddy lives here in town, this truck is the talk of the block. People stop to take pictures of the truck, and the nearby photography shop often "accomadere's" the truck for use in their professional photos. I could go on and on about how appealing this rig is. But let's let the pictures do the talking! Enjoy the auction! On Jul-24-11 at 19:03:36 PDT, seller added the following information:
