Vehicle Detail

Buyers...rest easy. To start things off I just returned from a 2,000 mile trip to Florida and back with my wife and 1 year old son and the truck performed beautifully. This vehicle has a Kentucky Rebuilt title. I want everyone to be aware of that. I will explain in detail everything that I know about the vehicle so that you can make an informed decision. We purchased this vehicle for a lot of different reasons. First and foremost was the space and "extras". There is plenty of space, that's for sure with the 3rd row seats...and these are comfortable 3rd row seats. The rear air and factory DVD system are a huge plus for travel and for entertaining the kids. The interior of the Expedition is in great shape...the seats look very good. The driver's seat does show some wear from sliding in and out, but there are no rips or holes in the leather. It has "Quad Seating". The middle row of seats is also captains chairs with a pass through in the middle...which makes entering the 3rd row very easy. The driver and passenger seats are full power...heated and cooled...yes, I said cooled. It is wonderful. Dual zone climate control keeps everyone comfortable. Power sliding sun roof is in perfect working condition as well as all electronic functionality...and there is plenty of it. There is a 6 disc changer in the console...but the magazine for it has been broken. I do not use it...but it does work. I usually use my iPod in the car. The navigation system is factory, but I do not have the navigation DVDs. I have kicked around purchasing them, but they were not with the vehicle when I bought it and we have a Garmin...so wasn't to worried. All of the audio and climate controls are on the steering wheel as well as cruise selections. This truck is loaded...if you can put it on a car, it has it. But, as I mentioned before, it is a rebuilt vehicle and I want to be very open and honest about everything that I know. I have the pictures that show the vehicle prior to its repair. It was hit in the rear end. There was no frame damage...but the rear driver's side quarter panel was replaced and the back hatch repaired. In the rear of the truck...the plastic molding is cracked...it sometimes makes a little noise. There is a vent window in the back...reference the pics of the sun-roof to see the controls...that does not open. The part to fix it is around $100 from your local Ford dealer and you should be in business. It is a 7 year old vehicle...it is used...they all come with a few little noises and imperfections...that is to be expected. I will supply any serious inquiry with more pictures if needed...there is nothing to hide. The 5.4L has 63,000 miles on it...runs like a top. Tranny and 4x4 are perfect. I replaced the front axle seals, put on new tires...and it drives great. When the vehicle was repaired, it was converted from an air suspension to a standard shock suspension...you wouldn't know the difference except for seeing the air suspension warning on the dash. This can't be turned off...but can be cleared with the push of a button...the other thing you will see is a tire pressure monitor warning. I just didn't take the time to replace the sensor. I check my tires quite regularly and while the TPS is nice...I didn't care to have the sensor replaced. It is a great truck...but I am getting a company vehicle and we just don't need it. It needs a good home. Email me if you have any questions...I am an open book...nothing to hide about this vehicle. It is what it is and for the right buyer, it will offer years of service. Thanks for looking! On Jul-24-11 at 14:21:23 PDT, seller added the following information: ***Update! I have lost the pictures from my hotmail account showing the vehicle prior to its repair. I viewed these pictures a few days before preparing this listing and I must have done something...I am desparatley trying to locate them. As soon as I do...I will add the photos to the listing. I am terribly sorry for the trouble.
