1970 Pontiac LeMans Sport. 455 motor; A/C; P/B; P/S. I bought this car from my neighbor who moved here from California years ago. It has been sitting in his garage for eight years. He purchased it from a lady who was the original owner in California. The title is still in his name, and it still has a California title. The car was very nice with no rust. The frame on the car was very clean, so all I had to do was power wash it, sand it, and put on a coat of new paint. I also installed four new KYB gas shocks, took out the gas tank and had it cleaned, and installed a new sending unit and gas hoses and vent hoses. It has hooker headers with a nice two and a half inch exhaust system. New front brakes and bearings with new master cylinder were installed. All four rims were also cleaned, sanded, and painted. The engine is a 455 c.u. with Edelbrock aluminum manifold with HEI distributor. There is approximately 6,000 miles on the engine. The engine compartment was cleaned and painted with the following items I put on new: water pump; gas pump; fuel line hoses and filters; battery; spark plugs; hood installation; all three belts for power steering, alternator, and A/C; heater hoses and radiator hoses; oil change and filter; carburetor and air cleaner filter; radiator was cleaned and repaired with new antifreeze. The A/C unit was pressure checked, and no leaks were found; one new hose and all the O-rings were replaced. The only thing I see wrong with the compressor is it needs a new compressor clutch which can be installed while compressor is still in the car. Year One has one for $139. The transmission is a 350 automatic with floor shifter and console. The interior has a new head liner and sun visors; new package shelf; new carpet and pad; new carpet on bottom of door panels; new factory front bucket seat covers with new chrome around the seats; four new window cranks and chrome door lock knobs. The dash pad is cracked, but there is a dash cover on it. I have the original owner’s manual and the gas tank sticker with product information. The trunk has new splatter paint; also has spare tire and jack. The body has a new vinyl top. The stainless pieces around the vinyl top have been repolished, and the corner pieces rechromed. The stainless pieces around the windshield and back glass also were polished. The door and roof rail weatherstripping had been replaced and still looks good. The paint is older with some chips and blemishes. The hood was just repainted. I still have some paint with the paint code on it. It also has the Judge spoiler on the rear.
