I have for sell a 1980 Pontiac Firebird that is cloned as a 79 Trans Am. It has the olds 403 6.6 V8 engine with the alunimun intake manifold. This is a project car I've been working on for a few months now. It starts up and runs great and has quite a lot of power but I've never drove it for extended periods of time so I wouldn't trust it as a daily driver but I may be wrong. The body is in fair condition but it needs little body work and a better paint job. It has the shaker hood style but the hood needs the be rewelded or replaced. I have the hood scoop also but it is in the same condition. The passenger side floor board needs to be repaired as it has rusted out with two moderate sized holes. I have recently removed the carpet because I wanted to inspect the whole floor board. The speedometer does not work either. The only mechanical problem that I know of is the power steering pump leaks but I have one to replace it I just havnt gotten around to it. I have a lot of extra parts that will go with this car. I have all of the heater parts except the heater core. I have an extra carborator, cast iron air intake manifold, new shocks for the rear, an extra altinator and a few other things. The only reason I am selling is because I can no longer afford to restore it the way I would like to. This would make a good project or parts car for someone.
