Here is a strong 1978 Chevy Scottsdale 4x4 ready to haul. Has a strong 350 Engine with a new Edelbrock 4 Barrell on an aluminum intake. New belts and hoses along with a new heater core. This Spring we put new gaskets and filter in transmission, but transmission does not hold well in park. I do not know if it is the the linkage or the park mechanism in the transmission. I do have another transmission that came out of another truck that goes with it, and it's park is fine, just in case you need it. New brake pads and shoes. It only needed one ball joint; so, the front end is tight. Has trailer hitch and is wired for trailer light. So it's ready to haul. It does noeed an emergency brake cable and a new distributor wouldn't hurt. I have a distributor, both front fenders, cab corners, and rockers for under the doors that go with the truck. I just had the tires balanced. Tires have 80% of new tread. Fairly new exhaust. Sounds real good. To sum it up... it is a strong truck, which makes it fun to drive and has a very smooth interstate ride. I would not use it as a daily driver yet, due to the park and emergency brake situation, but it is close. I just do not have time to finish the truck.
