This beautiful scrambler needs no apologies. The bike was a down to the frame complete restoration including motor rebuild about 5 years ago. Every piece was either painted chromed or plated. All new parts used were Honda OEM including seals cables etc. The bike runs and drives exactly like new. It has 510 miles on it since this work was completed. Here is the good stuff. This bike has won numerous best of shows at local bike events and will continue to do so.First impression is this is a new bike. All chrome has been redone including the wheels and is in beautiful condition. The tires are vintage NOS and very hard to find. The seat is perfect including the grey piping around the edges. The exhaust system is perfect. All paint is bright and glossy. All electrics and switches function as new. All cables are new. The original tool kit and Honda manuals and the original keys including the aluminum one are included. I have a current New Mexico title in my name and the bike is currently registered and licensed in NM. Here are the things that are not perfect. There is a small bubble in the chrome on the front fender. Pin head size. The clear coat bubbled under the gas cap as a result of fueling before it curred. A small amount of it shows a discoloration at the edge of the gas cap. I rode this bike the 500 miles that are on it so it has some small rock chips on the engine plate and one on the chain guard. again about pin head sized and not big enough to see and the idiot that put the tires on put a couple of small scratches on the side of the rims. Occaisonally this caliber of Scrambler comes along but not often. This is your chance to own a really nice one for a fraction of the cost of a new restoration. I have greatly enjoyed this bike and hate to see it go but new projects are in the works and old ones are in the way.
