Vehicle Detail

I'm re-listing my car due to stupid shenanigans by multiple parties. I'll try to provide as much information on the mustang as I can. This Mustang was my grandfather's car. He was a mustang enthusiast and had bought two mustangs he could work on with me and my sister. She had a 1965 coupe, and I got the fastback. The car was originally red. When I was 8 or 10 years old, he showed me a color chart and the color I liked most was aqua. He had my mustang, originally a red car, painted in the color that I liked. That was as far as he got. He had an untreatable form of cancer and died before he could do anything else to the car. I was just a little kid at the time, so my grandmother put the car into storage for me. Recently, I got the car out of storage, brought it to my mechanic and got it running. The fuel tank was replaced as the old one had rotted out. They also replaced a filter on the car as well as the battery. The car is mostly original as far as parts go. The only aftermarket products installed in the car are a real wooden steering wheel, seatbelts (as required by law) and a tachometer which is mounted on the steering column. Other than that, the car is is original, unrestored condition. For a 44 year old car it is in pretty good shape. It has minimal rust on the underside of the car and the frame and rails are in very good condition. There are a few rust patches on the chrome bumpers and a little bit of rust on the bottom lip of the front of the car, but besides that, the car seems to be in great shape. As for features, the car has a (200) 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed manual transmission. The engine seems to runs and the car drives well. It is especially fun to powerslide it around corners. It is a very torquey engine and the 3 speed works. My car has a Deluxe interior as well and the rear seats fold flat. The interior is in good shape, but could use some TLC. The radio isn't hooked up. Only one of the overhead lights works. The car also has a console on the roof. All the the interior gauges light up and the car is fine to drive at night. The headlights work well too. While the car is nice, it certainly isn't a show car and could use some work. The paint isn't perfect. the car has chips, cracks and bubbles (small bubbles) in the paint. There are some places where the original color (red)can be seen like where the windshield wiper meets the car. The engine runs and the transmission works, but beyond that, I don't know enough about old cars to tell you any more information as far as the mechanical aspects of the car go. I shot 2 video's of my car to further give you a better image of what it is like. Please copy and paste the URL's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzVpBA21nHM&feature=relmfu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuoKkEyCfgY&feature=relmfu When the car was repainted, the VIN number was painted over and can't be read anymore. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them, but keep in mind, I don't know that much about the car. Terms- During my last auction I had phony bidders. Please contact me if you would like to bid/ buy the car. USA buyers only. You must have an Ebay feedback score of at least 10 to place a bid/ payment on the car. A non-refundable down payment of $500 must be placed upon the car within 24 hours from when it was won. Withing 10 days the remaining balance is to be paid. As far as payment goes, I will accept a personal check or cash. Once the check has cleared, I will release the car to the buyer. The buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping of the mustang. If you want to see the car, I'll be happy to show you if you're local. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.
