Car Experts say “buy the best car you can find that you can afford”, and that’s exactly what I did when I bought this 1998 Mustang GT convertible. I searched for nearly six months before I found the car I was looking for, and what a car! The car had just turned over 23,000 miles when I bought it, and it has a little over 26,600 miles now. The original owner was a doctor in Arkansas, and the car lived in Arkansas until I bought it last year. The car has always been maintained and garaged, and the condition shows it. You won’t find another 1998 Mustang GT convertible any nicer than this one. Equipped with air conditioning, cruise, heated rear window, power driver’s seat, automatic, CD player, limited slip rear, premium alloy wheels, 4.6 V8, and other items shown on the letter I got from Ford that is shown in one of the pictures. Everything works like a new car, and the tires only have about 3,000 miles on them. I love this car, and I don’t really want to sell it. I had people stop and admire the car today while I was taking the pictures to post on eBay, and it gets attention everywhere I go. I may be crazy, but I want an old Dodge or Chrysler like I used to have when I was younger. The Mustang is fabulous, but it’s too nice to use as a daily driver. I want an old Mopar that already has a million miles on it so I can drive it anywhere without worrying about scratches and dings, since the new ones would just match the old. If you want to follow the advice of the experts, this is the best 1998 Mustang GT convertible you are going to find. Since I'm editing, I thought I should add that most of the miles I put on the car were on trips to East Tennessee, around 500 miles at a time. The car averages 22-24 mpg at 65 mph.
