1974 MGB Roadster!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1974 MGB roadster in the classic British Racing Green over a gorgeous tan (autumn leaf) interior!!! This rust free MGB is in excellent shape and runs great and has only seen 83k miles since new. This car was lovingly owned and maintained by the previous owner for just shy 30 years!!!. The car has zero rust and is very solid. This is one of the smoothest and quietest MGB engines I have ever heard. This car has had a host of upgrades including a Weber carb, a performance header, and recently replaced exhaust. The car has great oil pressure and drives great on its Michelin tires that have less than 100 miles on them. The exterior of this car looks gorgeous. The British Racing Green paint looks beautiful and as the car has recently had a bare metal repaint!!! The interior of the car was recently gone through and features new upholstery, door panels, and carpet. Overall this is an excellent MGB. This is a great collectible classic that is surely to appreciate in value over the next several years and is a blast to drive!!! Click to enlarge Exterior: This MGB roadster looks great with its beautiful British Racing Green paint and contrasting Black top. As you can see from the detailed photos the car looks great. You could easily bring this car to your local weekend car show and show it with pride. The car was stripped to bare metal prior to being repainted. The paint job is not a $15,000 dollar concours paint job, but it isnt a cheap tape and shoot paint job either. It appears much of the car was taken apart for the respray including the windshield, bumpers, lights, trim, top etc... The Convertible top is like new and is free of any rips and tears. The car has both a convertible top cover and the full cockpit tonneau cover as well. The chrome strips running down the side of the car are in pristine condition and like new. The car really does look great in person and turns heads everywhere it goes. Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this classic British Sports Car is like new and in excellent condition. The seats look beautiful and are very supportive since when the seats were reupholstered they were treated to new foam. All of the gauges and lights work. Since this is an early rubber bumper B, it has the benefit of having the beautiful chrome bezel "Smiths" gauges. The carpet is in great shape and shows very little wear if any at all. Overall the interior is very nice place to spend time and is in very nice shape. There is no radio in the car but one could simply be added. I also have the full length console if the new owner desires the full center console. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful. Click to enlarge Engine: The 1800cc 4-cyl engine fires right up and runs like a top. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine is very tight and the car has meticulously been maintained throughout its life and it truly shows. This is a very quiet running MGB. The engine has been upgraded with a Weber Carb and does have a performance style exhaust manifold. The engine has also shed its factory smog equipment freeing up some extra horsepower as well. These cars are considered classics in most states and smog testing is no longer required. This engine really runs strong and makes PLENTY of power and runs nice and smooth. The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly in and out of every gear. All of the lights, wipers, turn signals etc... are in good working order. The trunk is finished nicely and is complete with a spare tires and original jack and tools. This is a great driving MGB and is simply ready to be enjoyed. These classic MGs are getting more and more collectible and are becoming investment grade. The beauty of this investment is that you get to DRIVE and enjoy your investment instead of asking your stock broker about how your investment is doing.
