1978 Honda Gold Wing

if your looking for a clean early goldwing then this could be for you. this is a one owner bike that sat dormant for quite a few years in his house. the carbs were cleaned right before i purchased it and the bike runs great but i think it needs to have some miles put on her because it does not feel 100% perfect. it could be the fact that he wanted to make the bike louder so he cut off the tail pipes[no baffles] so that could be one reason its not 100 percent or just the fact it might just need some miles on her. don't get me wrong, the bike runs excellent but it does not seem quite like when it left the showroom. all other functions work correctly-brakes-horn-signals etc. now it has the vetter package that is very sweet but the saddlebags have some issues such as scrapes and the left side has a decent crack. the good news is modern epoxies will fix it. the fairing is excellent but would benefit from a windshield and the tour pack is excellent. these parts come off easy if you want to run it naked and go on fairly quick. fly in to stewart airport and drive it home. or try uship.com to have it shipped.tires are good. minimal oxidation on the engine and some light rust here and there on the chrome but they will easily polish off. i took pics with the vetter items off and on so you can see how it looks. call steve at 845-863-6327 with questions and offers. storage is no problem but bike needs to be paid for in full. paypal for the deposit only[the paypal fee's are to high to take full payment for this]. this is a sweet early gl1000.
