1972 Honda Honda

This is the 3rd Honda frame off restoration I've had the opportunity to complete. The first went to ND and the last one went to CA. I will do my best to describe what you can't see from the photographs. First, the mufflers have some dents, and two holes on the back sides were professionally welded closed. The seat has a small mar on the top of it. The paint has some minor orange peel (many of the old bikes had this feature when delivered and you may want to leave it alone or polish it out). There are a few light scratches on the fenders. The battery and tires are new but not OEM. My mechanic has had over 40 years experience as a Honda technician. The motor was not opened up because the mechanic finished balancing the carbs and tuning it up, stating, "It has great compression, doesn't smoke and runs like a clock now." I rode the motorcycle before I began and it shifted through all gears smoothly. All of the lights and switches work well. The side covers have no cracks, tabs are intact and the backsides are original panther gold covers. I have a clean open CO title. This bike is very, very nice. I will answer any questions you may have. Added on July 20th: I was looking over the title today and it says 1973. One website (Honda350K.com) says the release date was April 1972 and that the K-2 model was sold new in 72-73. NADA says the 1973 K-2 model is more valuable. The "Comprehensive Vintage Motorcycle Price Guide" for 2010/2011 does not list a 1973 SL Honda 350. I'm sorry if this has caused confusion, I practice full disclosure in my sales. Bid appropriately.
