We are the 2nd Owners of this excellent 2002 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab PreRunner. We have owned it since about 2005. We liked this truck so good we bought another one in the family for my father as he sold his 1997 Tacoma for the 2001 PreRunner. Don't be afraid of the miles on this vehicle. This is a Toyota and has been maintenance free and is still solid as a rock. This truck is actually a better running truck than my fathers 2001 now with 90,000 miles. It was a better running, better gas mileage than my father's 2001 even when the 2001 only had 47,000 miles on it and this one had 140k. It gets about 23 mpg on the highway and has mostly highway miles on it. The truck has American Racing rock crawling teflon coated wheels with top of the line Michelin tires and a tow/bull bar on the front. There's a bedliner. This truck has never been wrecked, or repainted, it has original paint and all matching vin stickers. I did forget that a kid stole a motorcycle and slid it under the back of the truck a couple of years ago while the truck was parked off the road (a freak thing), no real damage, but it just scratched the rear bumper and knocked off the plastic cover on the top but we replaced the bumper. Of course the kid ran from the scene and the owner of the motorcylce was also irresponsible so we filed a police report but nothing came of it. It does have normal wear, nicks, dings, and etc for a vehicle of this age but is a really clean vehicle. We bought the car in Georgia and have had it in Alabama the entirity of it's life. We don't get snow and use salt here in the winters as they do up north. This is a clean truck with a clear title. Car was paid in full the day it was bought. It does have a hookup for an I-Pod to the stereo system. The only thing I know that isn't working properly is the CD player. Truck has tow package and wiring harness. Has pulled utilty trailer a few times. No regular towing. This is a great truck, we love it, the only reason we are selling it is to get a newer suv for starting a family and selling real estate. Kelly Blue Book - "Sell Yourself- Private Party" current value for "good" condition is $8240 with it's options and mileage and $8840 for excellent.
