Vehicle Detail

Hello, This is "California" titled as a 1976 Honda Cb750. I am having trouble getting it to run, it won't jet in...the mechanic said something about the cam timing....It has just had an 836 install, (still on break-in miles), with Wisco pistons, a Mega Cycle cam (12525), the CR Special 31mm Keihin carburators. The head has been ported and bigger valves installed. I would say that it is going to need the hand of a knowledgable mechanic. The bottom end has about 40K miles on it. The tires are Metzler 880, 16" rear and 21" front. I put roller bearings in the swing arm, the electronic igniton is off a 1982 Honda 650, there is a spare complete 650 electronic ignition system in the parts bin. The bike handles unbelievabley well and most people can't get over how well it does. With it's good ground clearence it really lays over in the corners. It is very dependable and safe. Any ways, I built this bike 26 years ago when I was a journyman diesel mechanic. There is nothing cheap on this bike, only quality. ( notice the stacked plate oil cooler mounted on rubber insolators) The signal lights are glass lenses with spare glass lenses in the parts bin. The front end is 1976 Goldwing with 6 over tubes. Yes, that is a Snap-On wrench for the rear brake pedal!...The frame is Nempco. The gas tank, oil cooler, turn signals, head light, and electrical components are all rubber mounted, most of them with there original bushings taken from the donor bike. There are "Honda" shop and parts manuals, and a list of everything and where it came from. All the receipts included. The oil change is 3.7 quarts. Sooooo, here is a bike that is an every driver, I go on runs with it..cross country, border to border, Laughlin River Run, and more....I put an 836 kit and the other components on it and now we can't get it to run. I will add that I had stock carburators and air cleaner box ( K&N filter) on it before. ( see the last picture that shows what it looked like). They are in the parts bin, and if someone decided to run them again, all the mounting hardware and parts are in the parts bin and they will all bolt back on. It needs a good home.....any questions are welcome,...and I will answer them....thank you....
