Vehicle Detail
One of a kind custom 1973 Ford "BOSS TORINO" Gran Torino for sale. This is my idea of what a BOSS TORINO would be if Ford had made it in 1973. The car is equiped with a 460 c.i. BIG BLOCK, a C6 automatic transmission, and a 9 inch Ford rear end. The car was recently painted in it's factory special option GOLD GLOW METALLIC color and all the trim and emblems were removed and holes welded shut at that time. Also during paint, a BOSS 429 hoodscoop was installed and custom BOSS TORINO decals were added instead of the Gran Torino emblems. It has new carpet, a new driveline and u-joints, new brake booster, master cylinder, front rotors, front brake pads, new exhaust, new headlights with custom fog lights, new heater core, blower motor, and fan, new hoses, belts, plugs, wires, a new HEI conversion distributor, new 1 wire alternator, and a new battery. It is equiped with a B&M ratchet shifter and KEYSTONE CLASSIC wheels with like new front tires. The rear tires are old HONCHO 60's that are okay for local driving but will need to be replaced if the car is going to travel a great distance. The car will need a new headliner and back dash because they were worn beyond use. The door panels are in good shape for a driver and the seats are useable as well, however they would need to be replaced if the car was going to be a show car. There are also a few minor things that need finished including a new spedometer cable, getting the dash lights to work, and a new high pressure power steering hose because the old one leaks when parked. Unfortunately, I just dont have time right now to mess with this stuff. Other than those few things, the car runs great and has lots of torque. It is REALLY, REALLY fun to drive. I reservere the right to end this auction early because the car is for sale locally.
