For sale to highest bidder, a 1992 Chevy Blazer. I have driven it daily for the last 5 years and have been stranded only once when the ignition module failed (replaced 2 weeks ago) The Good: New plugs, wires, cap & rotor, Ignition module, water pump, hoses, belt, brakes, shocks, ball joints, cv boots, ignition coil within the past 14 months. Rear wiper and defrost work 4 wheel drive engages, works at low speed. Remote starter. The Bad: High miles (235000) Rough interior, especially drivers seat Cruise disconnected at turn signal stalk (don't know why) Rust-through at fenders, doors, and rockers. Rear tires old and dry-rotting Ignition key cylinder sticks and has to be jiggled back to Run position Thumping noise when turning ( maybe cv joints, bearings, bushings, ?) Passenger window not working Lately has developed ocassional stalling right after starting, but fine when warm. I think it may be the ignition switch, since it starts fine and stays running when the remote starter is used.
