This is an original unrestored vehicle that has been extremely well preserved. The first owner was a GM executive who sold it to the second titled owner in 1980 when it was only one year old. The vehicle was not driven except to an occasional car show during the past 30 years. The car was recently brought out of an 11 years storage and gone through to make it road worthy. The heater core was replaced, the radiator was rebuilt, the car received a tune up and all fluids were drained and replaced. All four wheels were cleaned up and all of the tires were replaced with new correct size B.F. Goodrich Radial T.A.'s. I do have the original tires that came on the car and are now in bags. They are included in the sale and will go to the next owner. The exterior is original and in great condition and does not need any work. The paint and shine are original to the vehicle and in fantastic condition. The interior is also all original and there is basically no wear to the seats or carpet. The dash is straight as an arrow and the turned metal guage cluster is like new. You will not spend one dollar on this interior . The radio is also original and it operated perfect but does need a new power antenna. The trunk compartment is mint and looks like nothing has ever been placed in it. The car has it's original GM Fisher T-Top bags which look new inside and out and the car also has it's original space saver spare with inflatable cartridge. This car does have the glove box mounted trunk release also. The A/C is ice cold and will force you out of the car when it gets ice cold. I had a can of R-12 and topped off the A/C system and let me tell you it is COLD!! Every mechanical component of this car works as designed from the power windows to the A/C to the rear defog and to all the gauges. The oil pressure runs around 60 psi when under driving load and 45 at idle. The temp of the motor runs a nice cool 185 after warm up. This car runs so smooth I wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and drive across the country. The suspension sits nice and level and the ride is nice and firm like a new car. The entire car is nice and tight from front to back and top to bottom. The car is being sold as is only because cars of this age are. I can add a buy it now option for those of you who would prefer to work out an outright purchase on the car. I have the car advertised and displayed locally for sale so I reserve the right to end this auction early and sell the vehicle.
