Vehicle Detail
I purchased this truck 03/11 from a dealer who had purchased it at auction. The truck was purchased in and owned by a leasing company in Illinois, however, the truck lived its entire life prior to me in Athens, Tennessee per documents that I have. I also have the original window sticker for vehicle. The truck is not new and is a plain XL trim, basically it is just a "good ole truck", nothing fancy. Everything works on the truck as it should, ie lights, wipers, air/heat, 4x4, AM/FM/CD, brake controller, etc. The truck has a dent in the right rear corner of the bed, the bed is a little wavy/dents, scratched, and has a quarter size hole left front corner inside bed. The spare tire carrier is broke (cable); however, the spare is included. The front tires are 80-90% and the rear are 30-40%. The transmission has an occasional short rattle when the truck shifts into overdrive, but is not a consistent rattle with each shifting. It does not rattle with overdrive off. That being said, the transmission shifts and operates fine. I was concerned and took the truck to a local transmission shop (Sand Mountain Transmission) for evaluation. The transmission did not present any error codes and the temperature stayed within range while driving and attached to scanner. Local shop advised to drive no need of any repairs now. The front end has been aligned and all tires have been balanced and rotated. Vehicle has been serviced to include new wipers. I have also had the radiator flushed and rodded with a new cap and anti-freeze added. There has been no overheating issues, the radiator was just plain dirty and clogged. As I said before, it isn't a new one, just a good ole truck to drive and do chores in. I have driven the truck from Alabama to Mayfield, Ky and back in a day, as well as Knoxville, Tn. with no problems. The GPS and slide-in/ball are not included in sale. The pictures were taken just as it is, not detail shop or even a driveway wash job. If you have any questions, please ask prior to bidding. Thanks for looking.
