Up for sale is a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. It is nail polish red (repainted from silver), the interior is an older restoration and burgandy in color. I purchased this vehicle from an owner who spent some money on it and some receipts are included (see photos). I drive it very little and it has been started, driven short distances - but not seen any long distances since 2008. It does not have current tags or inspection. This car attracts attention everywhere you go and dwarfs todays cars in length and design. Specs: Convertible, 500 cid engine (4 barrel carburator), fully loaded for this time period of a vehicle. All glass is intact: Windshield does have a crack, passenger rear window is in operable but should be an easy repair. Power antennae inop (radio is disconnected). Convertible top back glass has become separated and some tears/holes. I do have an OEM General Motors (New Old Stock) top that will go with the car. A/C did not work since I purchased the car, I have never bothered with it since it is a convertible. The fender extensions were replaced years ago but have started to become brittle and paint has started to bubble, the fender extensions need to be replaced. The trim below the tailights has split and the the paint is starting to peel. Included with this vehicle is an after-market parade boot (no hardware) and soft cover top cover. The transmission was rebuilt about 7,000 miles ago. The previous owner provided receipts for repairs and initial purchase price totalling approximately $10,000 (see receipts/photos). Other repairs have been done and documented. Car starts fine and shifts nicely. It will break the front tires loose with a squeal if you are so inspired. I have a clear title, it does not have current plates and is not inspected. It has always passed inspection, I have just not bothered to do so in the past few years (hence why I am selling). I did not realize I could not add more pictures - the car is not 100% rust free but its not a rust problem either ---in fact it IT is VERY SOLID. The floor pans, trunk, quarters and fenders are in great shape. The car was repainted, so I do know about any repairs which are not visible. The only thing I would note is that the passenger front fender has some rust on the lower side (between the wheel opening and the door), it is located between the two chrome trim pieces at the rocker. The box is GM and states 72 and it is suppose to fit this model, I only opened the box to inspect the contents. The canvas top is black and does include the back glass. The glass DOES NOT include a defroster (which the current top on the car does not either). It will be included with this car.
