You are looking at a very nice RUST FREE Short bed chevy. It has only 106k miles on the body, the factory engine was a 305 it was taken out 12K miles ago and replaced with a fuel injected 350 out of a 1993 chevy truck. before the engine was dropped in it recieved a ton of new parts. Piston rings, Main bearings, Rod Bearing set, Water pump, Oil pump, Oil pump screen, Flywheel/Flex plate, Timing set, Starter, Flowtech headers, and complete Felpro rebuild gasket set. Also the truck was fitted with new brakes, new thermoQuiet OE semi metallic, Wagner Brake shoes also OE, new Wearever brake rotors , new Wearever brake drums. I have 3 pages of reciept print outs of just this stuff alone to back it up. the truck was also fitted with a fresh 350 turbo transmission, new exhaust. front end components were re-done probably about 18k ago. All work was done by a certified mechanic shop.The tilt steering column works great and is not loose like most of them are. I think you would be hard pressed to find another swb chevy this nice, everytime I get out on the highway I get thumbs up from people, when I stop somewhere there's usually someone saying sharp truck or something about it. It drives just as good as new, you can drive this truck with your finger. it rides good too. It has dual fuel tanks the guage works on both tanks, still has the factory A/M F/M Cassette player in it that still works. The truck Does NOT use or leak any oil.. The paint is very nice and shines great, there is a few nicks and such but nothing really hurting the looks, the power door locks don't work,I am not sure why I never worried about it because they work fine manually. the orgional bench seat has a couple of tears on the driver side,Some of the plastic chrome trim is bubbling very common see photos. I keep a towel on it to keep it from getting worse.The A/C has stoped I believe a cheap shot of freon and you would be in buisness.. My wife and I got this truck to pull our Harley but due to me hurting my back we are in a bit of a bind and we need to sell it. I welcome you to come drive this truck and take it to a mechanic if you want to. This a drive anywhere truck fly in and drive it home the brakes stop on a dime. Open Clear Alabama Title. The windshield is in great shape infact it is also brand new. I believe about 3 months old. Yes the heat works great. NO I will not finance this truck sorry. Not to be mean but please don't bid if you can't afford to buy it or you are not sure you really want it. I am offering anyone that wants to, to come and look at the truck and drive it, and take it to a mechanic and have it looked at before they bid or have a local mechanic come and look at it if the buyer lives out of state and can not come theirself. This is a great truck I have set the reserve price at $3100 i will not take a dime less. The guy that I bought it from was asking 6500 for it(I still have a copy of the classified add). I will not say what I paid, but you can guess it wasn't $3100 I really hope it sells for more but if it don't I will take that, but I can not take any less. I believe you will be happy to have this beautiful classic chevy sitting in your driveway as I have. Also the sticker in the back window is a Harley-Davidson sticker.
