For sale is a gorgeous and rare fully built, the right way, 1997 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD. I am the second owner and bought this car completely stock back in 2001. Over the years, I have spared no expense to build the fastest, most comfortable, daily-driven Talon. Over $50K invested over the years!! And I have dozens and dozens of receipts to prove it! Just look at all of the parts listed below. This car was not just built for speed, it was built as a complete package - speed, comfort and style! This is NOT some stripped down weekend-only car or trailer queen. You can drive this car to work every day, just like I have. This car was built with the best parts and the most skilled labor so that it can be as civilized as it can get for a 630HP Talon/Eclipse (546 Dyno-proven AWHP - horsepower at the wheels + 15% driveline loss = engine horsepower) - see dyno graph). It doesn't need to be tinkered with or re-tuned every day, the tune has been dialed in, so there is nothing left to do but drive! All engine/transmission/major repair work has been done by the professionals at Modern Automotive Performance (MAPerformance.com). They are known in the Midwest as the premier Eclipse/Talon (DSM) shop. Don't believe me? Feel free to call them and ask about "Oleg's Talon". They will probably give you more details about the car, and the work they've done to it, than I can. When you drive this car, it will AMAZE you with its speed, day in and day out! But it's not just speed, all of the modifications were done with reliability being the number one goal. Because for me, for many years, this was my only car. The engine is a 9 out of 10. It only has about 5,000 miles on it. It is broken in with NO ISSUES! It is a fully built 2.3L STROKER 6-bolt by MAPerformance with a ball-bearing Garrett GT35R turbo. The car has low end torque and boost comes on strong at about 3000rpm and holds all the way to the 7500rpm rev limit. But because this car has an electronic boost controller, the boost is civilized at part throttle too, not like most tuned turbo'd cars where it's either no boost or full boost. It has NO known problems. The engine still has all of the stock features like A/C and cruise. Everything works just like stock! Show me another Talon/Eclipse that has as much power as this one that still has A/C and cruise and can be driven every day. You won't find one!! The body is a 9.5 out of 10. It has 106K miles on it and has only one tiny door ding because a few years ago I had $1000 worth of paintless dent removal done on the car. There is no rust on the car. The paint is original and smoother and glossier than most new cars! Don't believe me? Come see it for yourself, you won't be disappointed! The interior is a 9.5 out of 10. It looks like it did new! All of the electronics are nicely hidden away from sight. This is a perfect SLEEPER car - the interior, other than the A-pillar gauges, looks stock.
