Up for auction is a very complete 1966 Mustang Fastback Rolling Chassis. BODY: This Mustang is fairly complete. The body has some rust in the normal Mustang spots, but the work has already started, so it won't be that hard to continue. The upper portion of the body is in decent condition. We have begun repairing the frame rails, front and rear, but you will still need to add new frame rail extension under the floors, and you will need new floors as well. In addition, there is the normal rust around the rear wheels, which will need either to be patched or a new quarter skin. Overall this Mustang is a great candidate for any modifications and GO FAST package that you may want to add. The good thing about these earlier fastbacks is the availability of reproduction parts. Almost every part is available for these! INTERIOR: The interior of this car is mostly complete but you will need new upholstory, door panels, dash pad and carpet which we can help you with at MustangBeginnings. ENGINE BAY: The engine bay is in decent condition, but still needs a couple of patches on the top of the aprons. We removed the original 6 cylinder engine because we were planning to install either a 302 or a 351 in the engine bay. Call us if you need help finding either. The good thing about original 6 cylinder cars is you can restore them any way you want and not have to feel guilty about originality. This car would be awesome with a Mustang II conversion and a big engine under the hood. The options are endless! BRAKE SYSTEM: The mustang has standard brakes. They are intact and complete GLASS: The fastback has good glass all around and side window glass. The front windshield has been scratched by the windshield wipers and probably will need to be replaced which we can order for you if you need us to. The mechanisms for the door glass are complete as well. MISC. I have a couple of contacts for all the other NOS stuff you may need I HAVE 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND PLAN TO KEEP IT THAT WAY! THERE ARE NO SURPRISES HERE, I ENCOURAGE ALL THOSE WHO BID TO COME SEE THE CAR FIRST IF POSSIBLE OR SEND SOMEONE HERE TO INSPECT IT.
