1979 Chevrolet Malibu Classic 2Dr Sedan with Factory Optional 4-Speed and Bucket Seats. VERY RARE, of 412,127 Malibus produced in 1979, less than 2000,(1/2 percent), had 4-Seeds and less than 8000,(2 percent), had bucket seats per chevy production figures. Believe true mileage is as odometer reads, 65,300. Car was completely restored at 62,000. Have many original service records and data to support this included with large binder of all receipts for restoration work totaling over $12,500 above the cost of car. Body had very little rust. All body cushions were replaced on frame, Exterior was painted in BaseCoat, ClearCoat, with original Dark Blue Poly By Crystal Autobody in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Car is very straight and has mile deep paint. Interior is Factory original Lt. Blue and in Excellent shape with very little wear,(see pictures) All trim is almost perfect, polished where needed and replaced after paint. All Mechanicals were replaced or rebuilt. New GM 350 Crate Motor, 290 HP with all new accessories, Alternator, Starter, Fuel Pump, Intake, Carb, wires, ect. Extensive Chrome and Polish. Ceramic Coated Headers, new pipes and mufflers. New radiator, mounts, driveshaft, universal joints, brake booster, brake lines, roters, pads, drums and shoes. Factory 4-speed was disassembled, any worn parts replaced and returned along with new clutch assembly. Believe car is a little over 300 HP with headers. Wheels are Chrome Rally 8 inch with New Yokohama tires. This car is equipted with power steering, intermittent wipers, Pioneer Stereo CD with four Speakers, rally guage package, and center console. A Sun Tachometer was added to original Column. It has been adult owned, runs very strong and tight, and is very dependable. Also added new 8 Year Warranted Battery this Spring.
