This auction is for a very solid 1964 Buick Skylark Special. I do not have a title and will provide a bill of sale to the buyer. The VIN tag on the door jamb was missing when I bought the car. A title could be obtained by locating the VIN # stamped on the frame and have a new tag installed by your state inspection office. It could also be used for parts.The front bumper,grille & headlight trim are all in outstanding condition,no dents dings or damage at all,the original chrome is still nice and bright. There is no rust on the front clip at all,both front fenders have had minor repair at front nose,the bondo is cracking (see pics.) floor pans and both doors are also rust free (see pics)The frame is also rust free. The original 300 2 barrel V8 starts right up every time,it does have a miss,possible carb issues. It does not smoke.I replaced the points,condenser,vacuum advance,spark plug wires and rebuilt the alternator recently.Antifreeze is good to -40,transmission fluid is still nice and red.It still has the original aluminum heads and intake manifold. The duel exhaust is fairly new and sounds good. The 2 speed automatic transmission shifts fine.It will need brake work before it could be put on the road,pedal goes to the floor and I have never had time to work on them. There is some body damage to the Right rear quarter panel and rear bumper (see pics) The rear quarter drops are both rust free but both quarters have some minor rust around wheel well (see pics.) The trunk floor was fiberglass coated and painted red at some point,so it will need a new trunk pan installed.The L/R wheel is bent,you can feel the wobble when driving.All glass is good,headliner is hanging down. I do not have any seats,they were missing when I bought the car. It originally had a bench seat in front. Shipping is buyers responsibility,I will help load on trailer.This vehicle is being sold as is for parts only,it is not street legal.A $500.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction ending and full payment within 7 days.If you need to store the car here for a while,that is not a problem,just let me know.
