Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 2007 Triumph Bonneville T100, the bike has very low miles and has been significantly upgraded; British Customs Predators, airbox removal and installation of K&N air filter, Napoleon Bar-End Mirrors, and a center stand. I'm only selling the bike because I haven't been riding it, I recently took a new job that requires quite a bit of travel. I try to ride it for an hour or so every couple weeks to keep everything tip top, I've also recently replaced the rear tire (it only has about 150 miles on it), and the battery was replaced last summer. The bike has been down once, slippery street at about 10 mph. The exhaust pipe on the right side has some damage and there is a scratch on the engine case, see attached pictures. The gas tank has a few scratches on it but some touch up paint should handle that without a problem. If you have any questions or want additional pictures please let me know, I'm very prompt and more than happy to provide whatever information you need. Thanks for looking! 2007 Triumph Bonneville T100 Specifications USA: Engine Engine Type Air-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin, 360 degree firing interval Capacity 865cc Bore/Stroke 90 x 68mm Compression Ratio 9.2:1 Fuel System Twin carburettors with throttle position sensor and electric carburettor heaters Ignition Digital - inductive type Transmission Primary Drive Gear Final Drive x ring chain Clutch Wet, multi-plate Gearbox 5-speed Cycle Parts Frame Tubular steel cradle Swingarm Twin-sided, tubular steel Front Wheel 36-spoke, 19 x 2.5in Rear Wheel 40-spoke, 17 x 3.5in Front Tyre 100/90 19 Rear Tyre 130/80 17 Front Suspension 41mm forks Rear Suspension Chromed spring twin shocks with adjustable preload Front Brakes Single 310mm disc, 2 piston caliper Rear Brakes Single 255mm disc, 2 piston caliper Dimensions Length 2230mm (87.8in) Width (Handlebars) 840mm (33.1in) Height 1100mm (43.3in) Seat Height 775mm (30.5in) Wheelbase 1500mm (59.1in) Rake/Trail 28 degree/110mm Weight (Dry) 451lbs Fuel Tank Capacity 4.4 gal Performance (Measured at crankshaft to DIN 70020) Maximum Power 67PS (66bhp) at 7,200 rpm Maximum Torque 71Nm (52ft.lbf) at 6,000 rpm Colours Jet Black/Opal White, Jet Black/Tornado Red Price $8,299 MSRP On Jul-09-11 at 09:00:45 PDT, seller added the following information: **UPDATED PLEASE READ** Hi everyone, I've gotten quite a few questions in regards to the bike, so I wanted to post an update with a bit more detail, please also notice that I've added 3 more pictures. First, the bike is good to go when it comes to CA, the EPA sticker is on the inside of the side panel, I posted a picture. Second, I was able to buff off the mark on the engine case, I've posted a new picture, you can compare it with the original, looks brand new now. Third, I posted a picture of what looks like the gas tank cap, there is a small white kind of scuff that I wanted to point out, I discovered that the tank i slightly dented along that scuff. You would probably never notice this unless you were looking for it, but I have a good rep on eBay that I would like to keep, and I know how hard it is to buy something like this remotely, I just want to make sure I'm 100% transparent. I've gotten a few questions about how it runs...in a word, great. It's a carburated bike so it may need to be re-jetted to account for more or less altitude when you get it, but other than that, it's good to go. The airbox removal kit and the Predators really added a lot of pop and sound to the bike; it sounds fantastic and will really get up and move. I try to give it a good run about once a week to keep all the fluids flowing smoothly, I use 92 octane gas and I add Stabil in with every tank. Anyone who's ever owned a carburated Triumph will tell you that they are warm-blooded, this time of year the bike fires up instantly and starts to roar, in the winter it sometimes takes extra time with the choke and a little coaxing, that's just how it is. Extras!!! The oil was changed about 750 miles ago, but I was planning on changing it again myself with a new K&N filter and Mobil 1. I have the filter and the Mobil 1 and I will include it, so whomever wins the bike will get all the necessary stuff to do the first oil change. The battery is only a year old and when I'm not riding the bike I have it hooked up to a trickle-charger, I will throw the charger as well. Thanks and happy bidding!!!!!
