1973 Triumph Tiger

This "one year only" 1973 Triumph Tiger is one of the most sought after models of the 70s. For 1971 and 1972 Triumph offered the unpopular "oil in frame" models. In 1973 the T140 Bonneville and the TR7RV Tiger bikes came with a lowered frame, a 750cc engine, a 5 speed gearbox and a cosmetically improved headlamp arrangement. This is the last year for the classic right hand side gear shifter. All round, a very pleasant bike that has plenty of power and a pleasing look. 1973 is the first year for the highly efficient disc brake.
