Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! 1998 Honda Civic turbo with aftermarket parts as listed below. I bought this car on a whim about a month ago and have decided I just don't have the time to do it justice. The car runs great and starts right up. Drives excellent. The problems are listed below. The story I got is some guy built it up around 6 years ago. At that time there was around 30,000 miles on the car body and the motor was built up new. Right now there is around 84,000 on the car body and 54,000 on the motor, turbo, exhaust, intake, etc...There is rust in typical honda locations on both rear quarter panels but otherwise the undercarriage is pretty clean. I listed the mods below: Engine Code: D16Y8 Transmision S40 Edelbrock cold air intake Edelbrock performer X intake manifold Garret A/RCO M24 turbo Edelbrock headers Adjustable lowering springs- One of the few things I have done since buying the car is raise it up slightly. It will ride lower but I personally prefer traction and handling over looks. Panasonic radio with XM port Auto gauge tach with shift light Edelbrock A pillar mount boost gauge Fiberglass hood Fiberglass front bumper- The guy I bought it from hit a raccoon just prior to selling it to me. I think you can easily see the damage in the pictures. Fortuneatly there is no damage to the cold air intake radiator or undercarriage. Aftermarket ECU- Not sure type or specifics on this. It does occassionally idle rough after accellerating hard and I was told that if it was switched back to a stock ECU this would go away. As it drives now you can quickly and easily reset the computer by switching the car on and off and then it will run fine again. 4 10" subs with box behind back seat as shown in pictures Kenwood 600W amp with auxillary battery- The fuse going to this battery is blown and I have not tried to mess with it at all. I was assured the amp works but my assumption is that the battery is dead as I have no idea how long it sat like this. Racing seats with 5-point harnesses- These are comfortable and work fine but are showing definite sun fade as depicted in the pictures. Also there is a cigarette burn in the driver's seat as shown. The car does not smell like smoke, my wife is extremely sensitive to this and she doesn't mind the smell at all. Now for the bad- Windshield wipers- work fine as long as you do not try and run the washer. The washer pump is gone and there must be a short in the wiring as whenever you hit the washer fluid switch it blows the fuse to the wipers. The passenger door lock is missing the knob on the door but locks and unlocks fine with the key. All other doors work fine Windshield- Large crack running from one side of the windshield to the other horizontally. I tried to show this in the pictures but it is hard to see in the photo. There is also no outer trim around the glass on the outside as shown. The windshield is sealed fine and does not leak. Sunroof- Always seems to open fine but then seems to close whenever it decides it is time to do so. It might close after one push of the button or after 50, whatever the car feels like. This is likely in the switch but again I have not done any diagnostic work up The car has damage to the front end as shown in the pictures. Both front fenders have buckled slightly supposedly form hitting a deer soon after being built up. There are various scratches throughout the car as I tried to show in some of the pictures. The passenger side rear hood bolt is missing from this deer incident as well. There is no middle seat belt in the back seat right now. I did check under the seat and it is simply missing. As I said before the car runs and handles great, has lots of power and is a ton of fun. You are welcome to come and test drive the car and take a look at it. Message me and I will give contact info. Please understand that this car is nowhere near mint condition. It has lots of little scratches and carpet stains. Car will be sold as is.
