I'VE HAD EM THIS RUSTY BEFORE, AND THEY DO MAKE ALL THE PARTS TO RESTORE IT, BUT IT WOULD BE ONE MAJOR JOB REQUIRING THOUSANDS IN SHEET METAL ALONE. AT A MINIMUM, THIS CAR WOULD REQUIRE NEW FLOORS, TORQUE BOXES, QUARTERS, TOE BOARDS, FRAME RAILS, DECK LID, AND TAIL PANEL. CAR IS BEING SOLD WITHOUT TITLE, JUST WITH A BILL OF SALE, WHICH IS EXACTLY HOW I BOUGHT IT. THE FACTORY DASH VIN TAG IS PRESENT AND RIVITED IN, AND THE BUCK TAG ON THE RADIATOR CORE SUPPORT IS ALSO PRESENT. THIS CAR LOOKED TO HAVE BEEN AN ORIGINAL MEDIUM BLUE CAR JUDGING BY THE PAINT COLOR IN TRUNK AND BEHIND TOP. THIS CAR HAS BEEN EXTENSIVELY PARTED, BUT EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN THE PICS (AS FAR AS THE MUSTANG) IS INCLUDED, EXCEPTING THE TACH. I PUT THAT IN JUST SO YOU CAN SEE THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING/IDLING ABOUT 8-900 RPM BEFORE I PULLED THE HARNESS. THE PRIMARY VALUE OF THIS VEHICLE IS IN THE DRIVETRAIN. IT HAS A RUNNING 351C 2V, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND FACTORY 9" REAR END. THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING WHEN I GOT IT, BUT I REMOVED THE TACH DASH AND WIRING HARNESS SO IT CANNOT BE STARTED NOW. THE ENGINE RAN OK, DID NOT SMOKE, NO UNUSUAL VALVE TRAIN NOISE, KNOCKS ETC. IT OBVIOUSLY HOWEVER NEEDS THE CARB REBUILT, NEW PLUGS ETC. THE TRANS SPUN THE TIRES IN REVERSE AND FORWARD (I BELIEVE IT'S PROBABLY AN FMX, NOT SURE HOWEVER), BUT AS THE VEHICLE WAS ON JACK STANDS, I DID NOT GIVE IT ENOUGH GAS TO ENSURE IT WENT THREOUGH ALL THREE FORWARD GEARS. I CAN USUALLY GET 4-5 HUNDRED FOR A RUNNING ENGINE, 150 FOR A WORKING TRANS AND 4 TO 5 FOR A FACTORY NINE INCH. SO I BELIEVE THE DRIVETRAIN ALONE IS WORTH A GRAND, ESPECIALLY FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS A SOLID MUSTANG AND JUST WANTS TO TRANSFER THE PARTS. IN ADDITION, IF SOMEONE DOES HAVE A VERT, YOU GET ALL THE TRIM PIECES, RETRACTABLE TOP AND ALL WINDSHIELD AND DOOR GLASS, WHICH IS IN GOOD SHAPE, NO CRACKS. ALL THE REGULATORS AND INTERNAL DOOR GUTS ARE ALL THERE. THE TOP RETRACTED BY SWITCH AND WAS FUNCTIONAL. AS I TOOK THE HARNESS, MOTOR AND SWITCH OUT, IT CAN NO LONGER BE RETRACTED, BUT IT IS A WORKING FRAME UNIT TO INSTALL ON YOURS IF NEEDED. DOORS ARE PROBABLY TOAST, I BELIEVE FRONT FENDERS CAN PROBABLY BE UTILIZED. THE ORIGINAL WHITE REAR INTERIOR QUARTER PANELS AS SEEN IN PICS ARE ALSO INCLUDED (HARD TO FIND AN ORIGINAL FACTORY WHITE SET) AS ARE THE QUARTER WINDOWS THEMSELVES. AS MENTIONED, DOOR GLASS PRESENT UNCRACKED, WINDOWS ROLL UP/DOWN. BESIDES THE POWERTRAIN, MOLDINGS, TOP FRAME, WINDSHIELD, DOOR GLASS, SEATS AND FENDERS, MOST ELSE HAS BEEN REMOVED. NO DASH WIRING HARNESS OR ANY DASH COMPONENTS, NO STEERING LINKAGE. WHEELS ARE MOUNTED ON DRUM SPINDLES, NOT ALL TIRES HOLD AIR AND LF WHEEL DRUM LOCKED UP. I WILL LEAVE IT ON MY CAR HAULER SO IT CAN BE WINCHED FROM HAULER TO HAULER WITHOUT TO MUCH EFFORT. THIS CAR WILL GO TO HIGHEST BIDDER. DON'T BE A WEENIE ON ME.
