1970 Ford 351 Mustang California Fastback!!! VIN# 0R02H134xxx Description: 1970 FORD 351 MUSTANG FASTBACK from MustangBeginnings Up for auction is a very complete original 1970 “H” Code 351 2bbl. Blue Metallic Mustang Fastback. This is an original A/C, 4 Speed 351, 2 bbl. car 9 inch rear car that needs very little body work. It has a cheap paint job on it now. Motor and Tranny are not original to car, but we have 351 Cleveland engines, and Top Loader transmissions available separately if you want to get this car back to it original drive line. When properly restoreed, it will burn rubber all the way down the block. The engine in the car at this time, is a strong running 302 with a C6 tranny with B&M pan. It may have a shift kit as it shifts strong. The 4 Speed pedals are still in the car so switching back to a manual transmission is easy. Motor and engine compartment have been detailing and painted with a remote oil filter. Has Hooker Super Comp Headers and dual Flowmaster exhaust. The Torque Thrust Rims give the car a great look. I would strip the right quarter panel as it has some bondo, and patch as needed. The gap by the door is too big, but that can be easily fixed. Being a Califonia Car, the floor pans are solid with only surface rust on the top. Torque boxes and frame rails are nice. Needs ball joints badly. Its scary to drive fast. You can make this Fastback into almost anything you want including a Boss 302 or 429, or 428 Mach 1 clone. Rust Free Fastbacks are getting hard to find! The price was originally $15,000, but we have reduced the Buy It Now, so don't miss out on this Fastback. Adding power steering and power front disk brakes will allow you to corner with ease and not worry about stopping the car when you need to. We thought maybe someone would like to do the restoration work themselves, and save some money. If the car does not sell now, we will begin restoration as soon as the auction ends, and the price will be much higher when we are finished. If you want the car in final paint with its stripes, add $2500 to the final price. GLASS: Windshield is good and door glass and the 1/4 side glass are all there , but there are a couple of scratches that can be buffed out.. The windows roll up and down. The Mustang comes with most all of its parts which really makes restoration that much easier. I have a couple of contacts for all the other NOS stuff you may need.
