I am the second owner of this truck, and it has been a great work horse. I bought it from a wholesaler in early 2008 and used it as a national delivery truck, delivering equipment to TX, FL, IL, GA, OH, IN, IA, KY, and probably a few more states I can't remember. The first owner was Lincoln Contractor Supply in Milwaukee. They always set there trucks up the way I would, and I love getting there well maintained fleet vehicles. This truck has the LS package. Long Box with a Tommy Lift in great working condition. Back Up alarm. Extra Spring Set, I have loaded it with 3500# and it looks level. Truck has tow package and trailer brake controller. It has surface rust, but NO holes. I have put 100,000 miles on this truck since I bought it. I have done regular maintainance, and recently had new brakes, new pitman arm, front end alignment, tires are 60%. New batteries within the past year. The A/C is ice cold, power mirrors, power windows, power locks, am/fm stereo w/casstte all work perfect. Check out the pictures, the truck shows well. Here is the bad news; the engine has a blown head gasket, I lost it coming through Arkansas last July, I was pulling my box trailer, I just finished a delivery of a Biodiesel Processor and supplies to Tyler, TX. I had the cruise set at 78MPH, pulling nicely. Temp outside was 105, and then a hill! Pulling up the hill the waste gate dumped and took out the head gasket, she was drinking a gallon an hour all the way back to WI. Shortly after that, I left for two weeks in Europe, when I got back, I fired the truck up, but a ring must have rusted from sitting and cracked, because it started smoking bad. Bottom line, this 6.5 Turbo Diesel is sick, burning a qt of oil every 10 miles, and still using a gallon of water every 60 miles. It is a tow away only at this point. Now back to the good stuff, the tranny is perfect, I have had the fluid changed. Please note, this is a two wheel drive truck. The interior looks and sits well concidering the miles and year.
