Vehicle Detail

First, I have other pictures I can send to you via email or phone. I am the Second Owner of this car and I will talk about lowering the price, but not much at all. The numbers match and I correctly rebuilt the engine. It has less than 500 miles on it at this time. The suspension, tie rod ends, carb, all steering parts, radiator, ball joints, springs, dual exhaust, brakes, wiring, points, cap, rotor and transmission are all new. It has been properly set up. The underside is perfect and it has always been garaged. When you lay down on the ground and look up at it, it's like looking at the car in show room. In fact, the original owner told me it was in the rain less than 10 times. It was stripped and completely repainted in the original laquer 15 years ago, It was done just like the factory. The rubber everywhere was also replaced. There is one very, very small scratch on the back left bumper end, but you can't see it at all unless you get within 6 inches of it because it is in the curvature up top and the rear bumper has a very small scratch above the gas cap filler. It is hardly noticable. The glass all around the car is perfect and all the lenses are. There arent any dings or scratches anywhere the naked eye looks, maybe a tiny, tiny need on the bottom edge of a door or something like that. But, you can't see any. The original hood looks fine, but if you get real close you can see that the laquer is a little grainy in spots. I redid the trunk and I will do the hood before it is shipped or picked up. There's no real fading and everyone says "what are you talking about, the car's hood looks great." In fact, I went to to local shows and in spite of the car being conservative, I won two trophies. The head liner, top and trunk are perfect. The leather has been replaced in the front with a beautiful pattern, but not with the original ostrich. There is a new type of ostrich available, but it is gaudy. I got an estimate from Lewis upholstery, an expert for antique cars and he said that it looks great just the way it is. If you were to do ALL of the inserts it would cost about $1,500.00, but I wouldn't do that. The AC works and it has not been converted, the windows work perfectly too except the switch for the driver's side window needs to be replaced. It works, but you have to push a little bit to make it go up. Overall, it's like getting in a new car, a car that really moves out too! The hub caps are perfect, the engine is painted properly and the car is truly one to feel proud about if you drive it. I spent $13,000.00 on the car and I am discouraging people from trying to get me down on the price. It's just too nice to do that. Of course there are others 69's out there, but this Gold color is a very popular and somewhat rare. When anyone looks at the car, they see it as being original. 727-418-6206
