1986 Porsche 944 turbo for sale: This vehicle is in excellent condition, yes there are some minor flaws such as some stone chips in the front and a few small dings but overall it is in excellent condition. The air conditioning was converted to R134 and currently works great. Car was originally setup for DE " Driver Education Events" and or PCA events but due to time constraints ( young child ) I cannot find enough time to enjoy vehicle. Owned vehicle for approx. 3 years and have only put 5,000 miles on vehicle. Factory Option Codes: C02, 395, 418,425,650,666,900 This vehicle has extensive service history, I will add pictures of the receipts. Over 20k invested in vehicle over the course of a 7 year period. Most receipts from Dougherty Automotive in West Chester PA. They specialize in Porsche repair and race car setup. This vehicle recently had a full engine rebuild using a 87 block with updated timing belt tensioner. The 86 connecting rods were kept since they are stronger items then the 87 944 turbo rods. This was a full rebuild and not just a "refresh" Engine was taken down to bare block, all items were cleaned, rod and main bearings were replaced, head gasket upgraded to a Widefire ring type. Exhaust headers updated to 87 units using flex joint. This car was not built on a budget, as you can see the use of both Brey Krause items and Teamtech harnesses. The Teamtech harnesses alone were over 750 dollars. Vehicle has stock catalytic converts and passed local New Jersey emissions testing I will detail both the good and bad about the car.
