This is a very rare metal bumper 1974 Jensen Healey. This car has been well maintained with oil changes every 2K miles and over $34,000 in receipts! I purchased this car in 1993 when it had 10K miles on a 2.2L engine rebuild with high profile cams at 25K miles (all receipts provided). The transmission was rebuilt, a new clutch, MSD, and larger exhaust installed in 2001 at 48K miles. It had front and rear sway bars installed shortly after, with wheel bearings replaced, and more recently new rear bushings, shocks, U-joint, and transmission mounts in 2008 at 68K miles. All new front and rear brakes with new drums and rotors (not just turned) installed in 2009 at 73K miles. This Jensen Healey is good to go another 75K miles with routine maintenance. This car is a pleasure to drive, it is tight and shifts through its 4-speeds smoothly. What this car needs is some bodywork: the front bumper/hood has a dent, there is rust in the passenger’s floor pan (see picture), the windshield has a crack, the turn signal handle is broken, the convertible top is in only fair condition, and the dash and interior wood inserts need refinishing (see pictures). Local buyers are encouraged to view the car in person. Payment in full due in 7 days, if you cannot do this please do not bid. I guarantee the car described as above. All shipping arrangements provided by us are strictly a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the "Carrier" and not with us. The amount of time it takes for delivery depends upon the "Carrier" selected. A typical experience is 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the "Carrier" for an Estimated Time of Arrival to be sure. Terms of Sale Overview We reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of our listings. The successful winning bidder will be notified and must contact me within twenty-four (24) hours after the auction closes. The winning bidder must also submit a deposit in the amount of $500.00 within twenty-four (24) hours of the close of the auction; the remaining balance is due within five (5) days of the auction close unless prior arrangements have been made between the parties. Please note that all financial transactions must be completed and clear before delivery of the vehicle, without exception. I will accept bank wire transfers, cashiers checks, certified checks, or PayPal. All funds must be in US dollars only.
