Vehicle Detail

I am the Second Owner and I will talk about lowering the price, but not much at all. The numbers match and I rebuilt the engine. The suspension, tie rod ends, steering, ball joints, springs, dual exhaust, brakes and transmission are all new. The underside is perfect and it has always been garaged. When you lay down on the ground and look up at it, it's like looking at the car in show room. In fact, the original owner told me it was in the rain less than 10 times. It was stripped and completely repainted in the original laquor 15 years ago, it was done just like the factory. The rubber everywhere was also replaced. There is one very, very small scratch on the back left bumper end, but you can't see it unless you get within 6 inces of it because it is in the curvature up top and the rear bumper has a very small scratch above the gas cap filler. The glass and lenses are all perfect. There arent any dings or scratches anywhere the naked eye looks, maybe a tiny, tiny need on the bottom edge of a door or something like that. But, you can't see any. The original hood looks fine, but if you get real close you can see that the laquor is a littel rough. I redid the trunk and will do the hood before it is shipped or picked up. There's no real fading or is going to be painted with like I did the trunk and believe me, I used the best painter around. He also discouraged me from painting it all over again because it looks so original and straight. The glass, head liner, top and trunk are perfect. The leather has been replaced in the front with a beautiful pattern, but not with the original ostrich pattern. It is not available. The Ostrich is not to be found. I got an estimate from Lewis..the guy that does all the antique cars, and he said that it lloked great as it is and that if all the inserts were to be done they should be done in straight black smooth leather. That would cost about $1,500.00. But, like I said, it looks good now. The AC works and it has not been converted, the windows work perfectly too except the switch for the driver's side window needs to be replaced. It's like getting in a new car, a car that really moves out too! The hub caps are perfect, the engine is painted properly and the car is truly one to feel proud about if you drive it. I spent $13,000.00 on the car and I am dicouraging people from trying to get me too far down on the price. It's just too nice to do that. Of course there are others 69's out there, but this Gold color is a very popular and somewhat rare. When anyone looks at the car, they see it as being original. 727-418-6206
