Vehicle Detail
This beautiful Honda Dream 160 is technically still new by eBay's standards. It was never sold by the Honda dealership, but only used for demo rides, loaned to the Shriner's for parades, etc. It has never been titled and it still has the dealers paper tag attached. For at least the last 30 years, it has been on display in the show room of Tulsa Cycle Supply, the original Honda dealership in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I owned the building where Tulsa Cycle Supply operated for the past 5 years. The recession beginning in 2008 finally led to a financial collapse ending in bankrupcy in early 2010 by the dealership. As a result, I became the owner of all the remaining inventory and equipment as specified in the building lease. This antique Honda Dream was part of the settlement. Obviously, there is no title, but I do have a signed bill of sale from the owner of Tulsa Cycle Supply. I have not applied for a title because I believe that some of the value to a collector remains in the fact that it is still technically new. This vehicle is being sold with a notarized Bill of Sale from me. This Honda Dream is very good condition for its age. It only has minor dings & paint flaws from being moved around and stored for so long. After I took possession of it, the clutch was stuck closed. I took it to another Honda dealership and had that repaired. There were a few gas leaks that I repaired. I also had the rear inner tube replaced and installed a new battery. I put gas in it and it started on the second kick. The bike runs perfectly and having been stored indoors all it's life, there is no rust. It is 100% original except the pitcock has been replaced. The original one goes with the bike, but will need a repair kit.
