this truck was my great granfathers truck. he bought it brand new in 1957. it was passed down thru the family to me when I was I was high school in 1978. i drove the truck untill 1998 then decided to restore it. it has been mostly stored in my garage since 2001. i have had it out to drive around town and have taken to many car and truck show. this truck has many awards. This truck has been totaly restored. was rebuilt in 2000. it was an off frame restoration. Has new brakes, restored transmission, all new brake lines and hoses. the 235 engine was totaly went thru. with new pistons and rings, gaskets new cylinder head, all new top end rocker arms. it has new wheel bearings and rear end bearings and seals. The body has had new cab corners installed. the paint job is dupont base coat clear coat. it is called jaded marine which is real close to the original color , sea foam green. the body is rust free. the bed is oak wood that is sealed with clear coat. it has new glass all the way around. the windows do role and down good. all the guages work in the dash. it has a new heater core. The truck didnt come original with turn siganls , but i have installed the original turn signal switch and it does work. its not an add on turn siganl swith. it has a 235 engine with 3 speed transmission on the tree. it has new tires that were bought from coker tire co. in 2001. it has 3,500 miles all just local miles. the bumpers were re chrome from the original bumpers.
