This modern classic 1971 Fiat 850 Sport Spider gets 40 MPG with it's 900cc 50 HP engine. It has been meticulously and completely restored to show quality which includes the following: Engine: re bored, new pistons, rings crankshaft bearings, rod bearings, cam bearings, head resurfaced, new valves & springs, oil pump, water pump, & gaskets, carburettor rebuilt including new butterfly shaft bushings. New: starter, distributor, and clutch. Transmission: re-built with new bearings and synchromesh rings & gaskets. New axle shaft boots. Wheels: New tires, brakes, wheel cylinders, & master cylinder. Body: New floor pans, windshield, convertible top, body work and paint. New frame rails and cross members. Interior: New tuck&roll fabric seats with new seat buns, carpet, door panels, kick panels, and restored dash. In 2001 I personally completely restored this car. Since it's restoration is has been driven about 2,000 miles. From 2002 until now in has been stored covered in a climate controlled garage.
