Here is our 2005 Toyota prius .It has LEATHER interior that is in good condition-no tears ,rips or burns . It has the UPGRADED JBL 6 DISC cd changer in dash. IT has the SMART KEY option which allows you to enter the car and crank the car without ever taking the key out of your pocket. It has the FRONT - REAR-r and SIDE curtain airbags It has the HOMELINK option too ,that allows you to program the built in reciever on the rear view mirror to your garage door openner or front gate remote openner. It is Black with light palomino tan leather interior. The tires are good with maybe about 50% tread remaining.(its a guess) The car is a one owner and I purchased it through my friends deaslership -I had intentions of making a few of the cosmetic repairs on it and time has gotton away from me to do this . While it may show a clean carfax , it did show a theft recovery -I can see on the rear passenger door that it looks like some bodywork was done there around the door/window area. All the windows do work however this right rear window does get off trach at times. the airconditioning blows good cold air too. The transmission seems to shift as it should no known issues there. The entire car has had a total new black repaint - so it is shiny and new looking paint -I would have to say that there is some overspray in some areas that have a dripping look about it and on some of the rubber trim around doors and windows too. the right outside mirror doesnt work. As you can see looking at the pictures the car really looks very good . I had the car sold a few days ago ended at 7605. here on ebay and when we took it out for a ride the hybrid batteries started charging all the way up and then discharging sort of sporatically.It has been driving great until yesterday when this charging/discharging began. You may be able to get in it and crank it and go for 30 miles with no issues like we did ,then again you may get in it and it be discharged and not move properly. I am writing all this because I know there are people out there that can read about it and know how to fix it -so all this should be a great bit of info. So more on the rest. if you are looking and being very detail minded you would see these little cosmetic quirks about it.Like some of the little inside trim pieces are loose and need to be pressed back in place. The airbag light is on -dont know why -unless on the "joy ride" someone took in it they bumped something .Again was showing clean carfax as far as that goes- I do not have or know the cars history . I must keep saying the car looks good at the curb ,the interior is very clean looking and was driving great until the 15th (yesterday as I write this). The right passenger seatbelt is stuck . The rear hatch lock is stuck- I was told that the inside lock (which seems to be the issue )can be replaced for about 200. or so -for a new one. it can open from the inside and it does have the inside draw cover as an option too. The brakes service lights are on,the check engine light is on and the red triangle light is on and not sure why,I was told yesterday by my mechanic that one of the sections of the hybrid battery is not charging properly and that the hybrid battery needs to have the cells checked and some replaced. and the mechanic shared with me that most likely that is the resaon the service ,check engine lights are on The car comes with a clean title in hand . I have written what I know about the car and I have taken pictures of all the main areas and I invite you to zoom in if you can to see as much as you can . I have described it as best I can . If you would like more pictures of a certain area or more specific explaination of something -ask . I am selling the car as-is - where -is exactley as it is . no warranty oral or written .I would say unless your the gambling type and want to see if the car will drive to your home -i would plan on an alternate way to transport it to your location. I feel my description is very fair and accurate and again its all my opinion. I now turn over the responsibility to you to ask questions ,come and check it out yourself, bring a mechanic if you like.I can make myself available if you would like to schedukle an appointment to see it. You can also set up an appointment for a professional ebay inspector to come check it out if you wish.That is done through ebay though. Ok I think I have covered everything-I want to say I feel I was very specific and detail minded when describing the car (maybe) overboard actually , but I would rather you know as much as possible . I have had some people ask questions about the car that I just dont know the answer to. I can tell that the car has had or currently has uni body damage issues .There are parts that seem to have been repaired on the unibody to some level of quality but i dont really know how the work was done or who did the work enough to comment on it. I am assuming at some time something happened somehow to the unibody -specifically the area around the right 1/4 of the car but I will not limit it to that area-although it is all that I can see.So even though the car fax shows no accident history -I think something happened at sometime that created the issue and I am going to say it had or has currently unibody damage maybe it occured while it was stolen.Again carfax did show it to have theft recovery. one owner. Sorry I just dont know anymore to tell you..again -you can come and check it out or have a mechanic check it out on your behalf before you bid on it and buy it. ONE COMPANY THATS BEEN DOING THIS THE LONGEST I KNOW OF IS IN NEWYORK -EVERYTHING CAN BE DONE BY MAILING/SENDING THE BATTERY PACK TO THEM. 1600. WITH WARRANTY.ANOTHER COMPANY IN ATLANTA 800. SO THERE EVERYWHERE -YOU CAN EVEN DO IT YOURSELF -YOU TUBE THE INFORMATION.
