1965 Mercury comet Cyclone Very solid cyclone. 389 gears, Auburn Posi unit (9 inch rear) along with new axles Please keep in mind that there is 4,000 dollars in this rear end set up alone. Has Crites subframe connectors and rear spring relocation kit (Gave it 6 inch total more tire clearance and done professionally) If you know comets you cant put a big tire under them so this will give you the option for a wide tire. Front fenders, hood and trunk still need prepped for paint. However rest of the body has been stripped to bear metal and primered and will need blocked to perfection. This is a factory raven black with red and white palimino interior, original 4-speed car. Parts missing are: engine, transmission, bucket seats, cyclone hub caps, carpet, shifter, and a few miscellaneous pieces. Comes with new headliner. Comes with new headliner in box which is white. New shocks and new glove box liner. Has all new front suspension including springs installed already. Has all new brakes and hardware, drums installed. Rear seats are very nice (white.) Has all four chromes wheel moldings which are very nice. Comes with a 1965 Comet Caliente parts car. I bought the parts car especially for the inner wheel tubs, which the previous owner removed. Trunk floor on the Cyclone is very solid with no rust. Floor boards are solid. Small patch welded on drivers front floor board. Patch welded on passenger front floor board, have been done correctly. Only rust on the body was slight pin holes on the lower rear quarters, but have been repaired correctly. Underneath of the car has been sand blasted to bare metal which is solid. I have owned two cyclones and two calientes, this one is the most solid and most straight! If you know the comets they like to rust in their time these quarters were and are super nice. The fire wall is nice has no rust. Bumpers, Glass, parts in boxes are at the shop havent had time to take pictures.
