Vehicle Detail
This is a 71, Triumph TR6 that was restored 452 break-in miles ago. This bike runs and looks excellent. The picture should speak for themselves. The paint was done by Blake as advertised out of JRC Engineering. The head an upper end was done by Mike Jongblood, a local legend, and the assembly was done by Tim at British Parts. The bike has been powder-coated with the oil tank and the tool box painted. It has stainless spokes and all original nuts and bolts that have been cad-plated. This bike is original right down to the Lucas head light and tail light lens. The instruments have been restored by Nossinger, and over all, the bike is a very good example of a restored TR6. This TR6 has a clear Florida title. We do not accept paypal! We accept almost all other forms of payment, except electronic. On Jun-19-11 at 21:14:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Just for clarification, the title is correct. This is a 1970 TR6; this is not a 1971. Sorry for the confusion. On Jun-23-11 at 13:41:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Question: Please answer some questions before I bid. Is this a matching numbers bike, has the entire motor been rebuilt or just the top end, has the transmission been looked at along with the clutch, front forks, chains, brakes, carb, etc. Thanks. Answer: This is a matching numbers bike. This is a low mileage bike, so just the upper end of the motor with new valves, guides, and whatever else was needed. The transmission has completely gone through; the forks are all new. Clutches and pressure plates are all new, and the carburetor is completely rebuilt. It has a new chain and new wiring harness. There is nothing left undone. Thanks for the interest. Hope that answers all your questions.
