Vehicle Detail
Overall: This FJ40 Cruiser is in great condition and I bought it as a hunting truck but decided it was too nice for that. Everyone in my family (4 kids and myself) loves it except for my wife so my toy has to go. This vehicle spent most of it's life in Oklahoma and hasn't seen any driving in the winter so no salt. No major rust on this vehicle and the undercarriage is in good shape for the age of the vehicle.. I’ve replaced a heater hose, and had most of the chrome re-powder coated. The wheels and tires are in excellent shape with the tires being 31x10.50x15 BF Goodrich Long Trail. It also has Rancho shocks. These vehicles are not commuters and it has spent most of its life with a farmer (2nd owner) here in Oklahoma so the odometer reading of 53,000 miles is believed to be accurate. He kept it parked most of the time but would drive it every couple of weeks to keep the seals lubed. It has the original engine which is an inline 6 cyl. 3.9 liter F and it runs really strong and starts up every time. The 3 speed transmission and clutch are solid, 4x4 works great, and parking brake also works. The only issues are: hood latch springs could use a little tightening, a hairline crack in the windshield that developed this last winter when the temperature was so erratic from cold to hot to cold numerous times, and the paint is not show quality but it is nice enough that it does incredibly well at turning heads. Interior: The interior on this Cruiser is the best I’ve ever seen and why I originally fell in love with it but it also kept me from taking it on hunting trips like I first intended. The carpet is in great shape. The seats are immaculate as you can see in the photos and the dash and gauges are in good condition. The custom wood paneling is truly remarkable and was done so well that it looks like a factory job. original. The rear jump seats are extra roomy at 35inches wide . Headliner is in good condition. Payment: I require a non-refundable deposit of $500 via Paypal at the close of the auction, and final payment in form of cash, bank check, or wire within 72 hours of the auction end. The car is being sold as is, where is, with no warranties or guarantees implied. Also, I reserve the right to cancel the auction on this landcruiser at anytime due to the car being advertised locally for sale or trade. Good luck bidding! I have a very reasonable reserve on this vehicle and the winner will have a great car to enjoy for many years.
