To those of you who are finding one of my listings for the 1st time, to put the fine print `up front, I adhere to “No hidden agenda selling” This means, whatever you obtain from me’ will be represented in the same manner’ that I would count on’ as a buyer. So give me a chance to meet or exceed your expectations since I try to offer items `as if I’m the person who’s interested in the item, rather than just for the sake of $elling. It’s the same with my pursuits or sales of ’ classic audio, … In my nearly 10 year history with ebay, I’ve tried to uphold my reputation. Between vehicles, classic audio, & other items, I’ve made every effort to offer items & ‘see them through’ without reproach, ~ `since May 2001. For me to present something other than that which is shown in the photos `would be a waste of my time to pursue under-handed selling practices. The Truck is in excellent running condition! Its suspension is tight with equally responsive handling, as well as having a firm shifting Transmission. And along with the rest of the Chrome, even the beauty rings (of the wheels) are excellent instead of being pitted w/ rust & dented’. And of the few rust spots, I’d say they’re very repairable & aren’t such a concern ~ `compared to its overall integrity. Recently done: New, Front /disc brakes and the Truck is shinier now’ than when most of the Photos were taken Receiving a higher-than-average score `by the Experian /Auto Check. And along with the Mileage on the Title, the condition of the `rest of the Truck should all be quite reassuring to anyone who might wonder if its “under 69,000 miles” is the actual miles’. Otherwise, I only drive the Truck around in our community and, from that short trip?, … I can support what the owner said to me when I started the trip, ~ “...you oughta' feel how-it-feels to drive it out on the road, -it's wonderful, -I mean it's amazing the way it drives.", etc. And he stated this with regard to folks expressing concerns of it being 'road-ready' & worthy of a long trip ~ home. And such concerns are even further diminished in light of `what the grill & forward-facing chrome would surely look like if you were to add another 100,000 miles to its time spent on-the-road. And not to belabor the point’, but I'm going to especially address the Questions which may come in’ to the point of: [ Does it all work ok? ] Here was my reply to a Q: of it having a [ 700R4 Transmission? ] I've asked owner to check on identifying the type Transmission, but in the absence of an owners manual, or if the 'sticker under the hood' doesn't reveal it, then he doesn't know, ... ( only to say that it is "100% Factory & functional.") And, yes, the motor and `overall Truck is running Great ~ [period] ~ HiHAnd this includes the excellent performance of the Transmission.HiH HHThe owner is concerned about accurately representing the Truck.HH And regarding the known repair issues, it's like I explained to him when we talked about making it available on ebay: "...it's about disclosing what you know about the truck, the good points as well as what the person can expect to have fixed", etc. “But along with issues of such as window function or a windshield washer repair, ...( making it known ~ does not mean that you're required to include a complete pre-diagnosis -providing a step-by-step details of what & how each item is to be repaired ), etc.” If the owner had already had the repairs done', then he could have listed them, accordingly, (( …along with the “recent receipts” and a higher $tarting Price )) In the Owner’s own words, here’s the “List of Fix-its” as follows: The Driver side window is not working, ( could be a tracking issue, the switch, or regulator ) The Truck comes with DUAL GAS TANKS, but the Driver side tank hasn’t worked throughout the time that he has owned it’. I’ve heard that this is a common issue with the ‘switching valve’ that alternates between the two’ –rather than being a fuel pump that has failed. So the owner has only used the Tank on the right side. The cruise control is un-hooked, so he’s not aware of its working status. The windshield washer nozzle needs attention between the hose &/or fitting, etc. ~ as it sprays beyond the windshield. So the Truck can be considered as absolutely Drivable for the purpose of driving it ‘home’. As for rust issues, `along with the dented tail gate, I’ve included ‘the spots’ in the Photos. But as an offsetting brag’ , I’ve also tried to show the exceptional condition of the fender wells & underbody. And as a reminder of the good stuff ’ ~ It matters `not that the Truck is [ White ], for the Paint still shines! As for any Oil Spots ?? ~ “the concrete is LcleanL under this Truck” And the spare has never been dismounted from the undercarriage. The Interior is (( Exceptional )), and the dash has only begun to crack in a couple of places, ( typically start in the rows of ‘Radio speaker holes’ ), so this truck is no different. Other than this’ the owner describes the original radio as only partially working, :^) I didn’t operate it ~ when I drove the Truck, …I was too impressed with the drive and listening to how well I was hearing the sounds of the past’ … (( the sounds that an `87 Pick Up should make ( in 1987 ) ~ that-is’ )) *HRegional ReferenceH* H For considering Travel arrangementsH to the Western Tip of KY, our location is 2: 20 hrs.
