1979 Fiat 124 Spider!!! Here is a gorgeous 1979 Fiat 124 spider that looks great in its rare color combination of Bianco (White) over a beautiful blue interior! This Fiat 124 is in very good condition and runs great!!! This car is a desert southwest car and is incredibly solid and rust free!!! The interior is in very nice shape and the car was recently re-freshened with a new paintjob. The chrome on the car is in nice shape. These Fiat 124s are great cars to drive and drive like much more modern cars than say a Triumph spitfire or MG. They have a very solid well built feel going down the road. This car rides and handles great and is a very smooth riding car. This is a car that you could log hundreds of miles in in an day and enjoy every minute of it. These Fiats are great modes of transportation and were ahead of there time when new, from the twin cam 4 cylinder engine to the 5 speed gear box. This is a great car to take out on a nice spring or summer day and go for a fun drive. This rust free FIAT 124 is a great collector's item, that is surely to appreciate in value over the years. Click to enlarge Exterior: The Classic white paint on this classic is in great condition and has recently been painted. The white paint looks stunning on the Pinninfarina styled body. The entire car was disassembled prior to painting. The doors, hood, trunk, and bumpers were all removed to paint this car. All of the door, hood and trunk gaps line up great. The doors open and shut with ease. The cars convertible top was also recently installed and is still in very good shape showing very little wear. Overall this is an excellent looking 124!!! Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful "Azzuro" (Blue) interior is in very good shape. The seats feature a gorgeous pleated pattern down the center of the seats and are very comfortable. The dashboard is in flawless shape and looks gorgeous with its wood accents. The seats are free of rips and tears as is the convertible top. The interior of these Fiats is a very pleasant place to spend time in. I absolutely love the chrome accents that adorn the door panels as well as the heater controls mounted in between the two bucket seats. The steering wheel is topped off with the famous Fiat logo horn button that really completes the classic look and just adds that special touch. All of the gauges work and even the clock works!!! The interior of this car is in very nice shape. Click to enlarge Engine: This classic 1979 FIAT 124 features a twin cam 2000cc engine that runs great! The car starts right up and runs like a top without blowing any smoke!!! The engine runs beautifully without skipping a beat and emits that classic Italian sports car sound. This car has even recently passed Arizona Smog!!! The suspension and steering is very tight and feels great going down the freeway or carving corners. The clutch pedal feels great and the brake pedal is firm and very responsive. The 5-speed transmission shifts perfectly in and out of gear with out grinding and the 5th gear really helps with freeway driving. This is a very smooth driving car that is a blast to drive!!!
