Car was entirely disassembled, stripped to bare metal(chassis went on a rotisserie), epoxy primered and professionally painted top and bottom, inside and out silver and black. In reassembly: · New wiring harness (engine and body) · New rubber, including weather stripping · New suspension bushings (Polyurethane where available) · New stainless exhaust · New shocks (all 4) · New interior carpet · New trunk carpet added · New oil pressure/temperature gauge · New fuel lines and filter · New lucas coil · New brake master cylinder · New trim rings on wheels · Dash rocker switches rebuilt (new ones are reproduction but are not identical, so had old ones rebuilt) · Stainless Steel hardware used on reassembly whenever possible · Dual SU carbs fitted (original Europe specification for 1500 motor) · Radiator rebuilt · Grant steering wheel fitted (original in good shape and included) · And more… New 75 month battery from NAPA 05/2011 The not perfect: Could use a new top (back window cracked, passenger side repaired in the past) Was bumped in a parking lot – see pictures for damage, repairable and minor I purchased the car in 1999 from the original owner, wife saw it and it immediately became her car. We drove it extensively till the winter of 2001, when a full restoration was done. Has been garaged and has less than 5000 miles on it since. We used it as our “Date” car till some kind soul backed into it in a parking garage and drove off, leaving us to find it when we came out. Now with 2 kids it just sits in the garage.
