2010 Honda Goldwing CSC Trike & Trailer ~ both like new! I KNOW THAT THERE IS A LOT OF INFORMATION HERE FOR ALL TO READ!!! I FEEL THAT ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING A PURCHASE AT THIS LEVEL DESERVES TO HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION THAT THEY CAN GET BEFORE THEY BID ON IT!!! I WOULD RATHER PROVIDE YOU WITH TOO MUCH INFORMATION INSTEAD OF NOT ENOUGH!!! PLEASE READ EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS TRIKE & TRAILER AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE BEFORE YOU BID AND WE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ANSWER THEM ASAP!! Up for auction is a low mileage (6,080 miles) like new 2010 Metallic Red GL1800 Honda Goldwing with like new California Side Car Trike conversion. This trike and trailer are in show room condition with even more quality upgrades since they were bought new. Compare this trike to any other trike you can find on the market and you will find that you will pay as much for just a trike with no where near the upgrades that this one has plus this one comes with the trailer. We more than welcome your inspections of this trike and trailer. Just as a suggestion if you are truly interested in buying a trike at this level and you want to see this one first then I would bring the money when you come to look at it because when you see it you will want it. The pictures truly do not do this trike justice! It is absolutely a one of a kind beauty! The only reason we are selling this Trike and trailer is because I bought and built this ride specifically for my wife to ride and to also have it for both of us to ride for long trips. The problem is now when she rides even for short periods of time her right arm gets numb as she holds the handle bars. We have a smaller Honda and she has the same problem with it too. Because of her condition it has gotten to the point that she is no longer interested in riding by herself and says she is perfectly content with riding on the back of my bike. I had recently bought a new Harley Ultra Classic and financed a big part of the cost of it. We always paid cash for everything we bought or did to our Goldwing and that is why we have clear titles to the Goldwing and our trailer. If we had clear titles for both bikes then someone would be looking at an auction for a Harley Ultra Classic instead of this Goldwing and its trailer. Since my wife will not be riding by herself it does not make sense for us to keep both bikes. I cannot afford to pay off my Harley right now but if I could I would because even though my Harley is nice it is no where near the bike with the looks and power of this Goldwing. Yeah that’s right all of you Harley owners…….You all did hear me right!!!! Besides if you Harley guys are so happy with your Harleys then why are you even reading this anyway???? Yeah, I know! I feel your pain! This 2010 GL1800 Goldwing is still under the full transferable Honda Factory unlimited mileage warranty until March 16, 2013. The CSC trike conversion is still under the CSC warranty and the Jason Ind. trailer is still under the Jason Industries factory warranty. This GL1800 Goldwing was built in Marysville, Ohio and was one of the last Goldwings made in the USA before Honda moved their operations back to Japan for 2012. Honda did not make a 2011 model year Goldwing. This trike has been garage kept since it left the dealer. This trike has never been ridden in the rain. The story of this trike is as follows; We bought this bike new on March 16, 2010. We bought the trailer new in May of 2010. The trike conversion was done in October of 2010. We have only ridden the bike as a trike for approx. 200 miles since we picked it up from the CSC factory. It rides and performs better than any bike that I have ever ridden. We call the trike conversion “like new” because essentially it is but we want to make sure that everyone understands that it does have about 200 miles on it. The break-in period is about 3,000 miles and then you just need to change the gear oil. There are no restrictions on how fast you can run it during the break-in period. The California Sidecar Conversion was performed at the CSC main factory located at Arrington, Virginia. This conversion was completely done by the CSC technician that trains all of the other CSC dealer technicians throughout the United States. If a CSC dealer in the United States has a certified installer then he was trained and certified by the guy that actually did the conversion on our bike. Therefore we know that not only by having the best trike conversion on the market (CSC) we also feel that we have had the best installation job by the most qualified individual that there is. I did not want to end up with a bike, trike and trailer that I would still be left saying that “I wish I would have done this” or “I wish I would have added that.” As you will see I have added every item and/or comfort one can imagine making this ride the most comfortable and safest it can be. I am not going to try and describe this model 2010 Goldwing in complete detail instead I will link you to Honda’s website where you can find more information on it. The Honda site is http://powersports.honda.com/2010/gold-wing/build.aspx This bike comes from Honda very well equipped. It has heated grips, heated seats, GPS, XM, Blue Tooth so you and/or passenger can talk on your telephone through your motorcycle headset. It has capability of the weather channel through XM with the weather alert system and real time Doppler radar display on your display screen. It has electric reverse with reverse lights on the rear. This bike has the upgraded sound system with AM, FM, CD Player, XM Radio, CB and a Digital Music Player/Changer. This bike has outstanding power even with the trailer and passenger you won’t even know when you hit a hill. I had the easy steer 4&1/2 degree rake installed on the front end when they did the trike conversion and it handles like a dream. This trike has the adjustable vertical air shocks and it also has the upgraded adjustable on the fly horizontal stability control shock/stabilizer which you can control with a simple turn of a knob as you are going down the road. This control allows you to change the side to side movement/lean for better handling on varying road conditions. On winding roads this feature allows this trike to handle like a sports car. This trike has the upgraded heavy duty performance brake system so you don’t have to worry about pulling a loaded trailer with a passenger in the mountains. This trike also has a parking brake. I also had the additional auxiliary 3.4 Gallon Fuel Tank installed which should give you a cruising range of over 300 miles on a single fill-up even when you are pulling the trailer. When the trailer is hooked up to the trike the trailer has a manual interior light as well as an automatic interior light when you open the lid. The trailer is fully carpeted. The trailer weighs about 200-250 lbs empty and has a max GVW of 1,000 lbs when loaded. When the trailer is unhooked from the trike you can effortlessly move the trailer around with one hand. With all of the LED lighting this trike and trailer have they are lit up like New York City at night so everyone can easily see you from every angle. I can assure you that you will draw a crowd whenever you stop because you will not see very many at this level of quality and appeal. As you can see in the photos I did not have the lower ground effects added in the trike conversion. The main reason that I choose not to was because of the additional loss of about 1-2 inches of ground clearance. With the lower ground effects even some speed bumps become a problem. The first time you bottom the ground effects out on a speed bump then they are done so I decided that the disadvantages far out weighed the only advantage and that is looks. Ground effects also make it a little more difficult getting on and off of the Trike. Below is a list of what I have added to this bike. Please note that the prices you see are MSRP and in some of the cases I paid a little less for the items through parts dealers and/or warehouses that I buy a lot of my parts from. I do not want anyone to think that I am trying to inflate the prices just to make it appear more valuable. However some of these prices are indeed what I paid and most of the prices do not include tax, shipping or installation of some of the items. This will at least give you an idea of the approx. value of this trike and trailer.
