VERTICALLY CHALLENGED RIDERS THIS HAS BEEN LOWERED BY 3 ' GUYS, AND GALS! This motorcycle runs great. Just was serviced at BMW dealer no problems very clean. Bought this bike, and I had it throughly checked by the BMW dealer and everything was in spec and fine. All service was done at a BMW dealership. Reason I'm selling this my new GF says it the bike or her, so guess who I'm selling. This bike was lowered 3" with WORKS shock front and rear, these were just rebuilt, Sargent seat, Throttlemeister, lowered pegs, bar backs,instrument shelf, GPS, 2 new gel batteries, BMW charger, run flat tire system sealant,Cee Bailey wind shield, and many more items. All pictures are of the actual motorcycle for sale BMW R1150RT-P Additional Standard Equipment The R1150RT-P includes standard equipment beyond that provided on the civilian R1150RT motorcycle: · Solo seat only with a radio top box replacing the passenger seat · 840 watt alternator instead of civilian 700 watt alternator · Rear drive gear ratio of 31:11 (civilian R1100/1150RT has 32:11 ratio but R1100/1150RS has 31:11 ratio) · Auxiliary cooling fan for when engine is kept running when the motorcycle is stationary · Front and rear protection bars · A special speedometer accurate to +/- 1 MPH · Two 12 volt accessory outlets (the civilian outlet R1150RT comes with one) · Headlight on and off switch · Fog lights · Heated handgrips are standard · BMW windshield is standard · Locking side stand · True image rear view mirrors · BMW "City Case" saddle bags The BMW R1150RT-P (P for Police) is based on the R1150RT civilian model, but is equipped with features that tailor it for official use. It is powered by BMW's modern two cylinder, four stroke Boxer engine, which delivers 95 horsepower at 7,250 rpm. Comfort and safety features include an antilock braking system that operates independently on both front and rear wheels (important in rapid braking situations), standard "run-flat" capable tires (which allow the motorcycle to be safely controlled to a stop in the event of a flat), an electrically adjustable windshield to allow riders to tailor wind flow to riding speed and body proportions, electrically heated handgrips, an adjustable shift lever, and front and rear protection bars.
