I am selling my 1967 Austin Healey. It has been stored since 1998 and was to be a restoration project for me. Other projects have taken over and it is time to let this gem go to a new home.The car was my Grandfathers until he started to be unable to restore cars, I bought it from him.The car has been stored in a garage and dry for nearly 20 years, the last year it has been in my carport while I tinkered with it. The car is a very clean restoration candidate, the body and frame are straight. Both front and rear shrouds are clean and straight. minimal rust in the floors and fenders.the car runs, and starts well, I do believe that I have it set a bit rich though. Included with the car are new outriggers and sills from Moss Motors, they are not installed, but are included.The car is very mechanically sound, runs through all gears including overdrive, stops, and the clutch engages smoothly.I have included more detailed pictures and video of the car running and driving at the following site: http://s1131.photobucket.com/albums/m554/shanesr74/ To do a restoration on the vehicle you will need to replace nearly all of the soft parts of the interior. Seat buckets, top hardware and frame, transmission cover etc are all there.Seat pads, carpet, vinyl seat covers are all needing replacement. Buyer is responsible for pickup and shipping, but I can meet the driver and the vehicle can be driven on to a trailer. A $500.00 Dollar deposit is required within 24hrs of auction ending. Paypal charges for payments backed by credit cards, you will be responsible for any of those fees, as well as transport arrangements, and payment of hauler on your own.The vehicle is located in Woodbridge Virginia.
