Up for auction is a 1998 BMW R1100RT Touring Motorcycle in excellent condition with only 9,693 miles. BMW invented the Sport Touring Class and this bike was the standard for the Sport Touring Class. The color is black. It has a strong 1100cc (90 HP) fuel injected boxer engine which is second to none. Gas mileage is approx. 50 miles / gallon. The bike has been recently religiously serviced since I bought it from the original owner in 2000. I had an 89 K100LT which is what I put all my miles on but I always wanted a R boxer. I have a family now with two small children and motorcyles and kids and the Mrs. don't mix. The bike just sets in the garage and someone should really enjoy this great machine. SO I'm selling it to purchase a UTV for the family trail riding.
