This car was sold new in Yorba Linda, CA. It was purchaced by a Minnesota museum in about 2002 and has remained there until our purchase of the car. There are receipts of gas purchases in CA in the ash tray from Jan, 2002. The ash tray is otherwise unused -- NEVER SMOKED IN. 100% original paint and interior, never any rust, never modified. Now if you are still reading you know what this car is! We removed the gas tank, replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter, cleaned the lines and injectors, changed the oil using Mobile 1 as recommended, and she came to life. We have put about 200 miles on it and she drives like new, stops straight, spools up and pins you in the RECAROs. A/C is cold. She is still wearing her original Fiberide composite wheels that are in great shape. The tires have been replaced with a slightly bigger size than factory. Now some tech stuff: Number 152 of 500 (including 2 prototypes). Intercooled Turbo IV, A555 5 speed, variable-nozzle turbo. In other words, it's FAST! This is the last Dodge project with direct involvement from Carroll Shelby. He was once asked what his favorite project EVER was; he replied "Making those little Chryslers go fast." To the car: Driver's seat has worn where you slide across it (see pics), otherwise the interior is great. Original Exotic Red paint shines very nice except on hood. Scratch on spoiler. Two small dents in driver's door, 1 small dent in passenger pillar. Runs and drives PERFECT. This is a survivor, not a show car.
