MG-TD Restorable Car.This is an almost complete car for restoration. Refer to photos. Engine was removed and disassembled for overhaul which was never completed. Crank has been reground to .010 under on mains and rods (Bearing surfaces covered in grease for protection). No other engine work was done but all major components are included (Block with main caps, head with valves, original pistons with rods, pan, flywheel, starter, etc.) except generator. Intake manifold with original carbs, air cleaner manifold and newly refinished AC air cleanerExhaust manifold. Exhaust pipe, muffler, and tail pipe missing. Transmission still in car. Original seats still in car. Carpet is not. The two-bow top frame and side curtain frames are included. Car is sitting on wheels with bad tires and spare wheel is included (spare wheel refinished in correct silver, no tire).Wood appears okay but I can only attest to what i could see and feel.Front bumper is included but missing backing bar. Rear bumper still on car. Both bumpers will need refinishing.Windshield is complete but cracked. Wiper motor still mounted in center of windshield.Registered as a 1953 because of the high serial number but has square tail lights. On Jun-06-11 at 14:13:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Alert........I was checking for parts belonging to this car and found the generator. along with the distributor, valve rocker train, cam followers, springs, pushrods, and lots of bolts. there are four pistons with connecting rods and caps. and the main bearing caps are in the parts box.
